Sustainable Living

According to Wiki, Sustainable Living is one whom live by alternative means to do good to the environment, our Earth.

But to me, I thought it could be a living by the basic, and by saying basic, I doesn't means it's by choice by rather by external factor. Now, let me explain....

Every morning, when I walked out from the train station on my way to work, I will pass by this particular coffee place for sure. I'm not to certain when it happens, but I begin to notice this old couple will sit by the chairs and table at the end of the coffee place (outdoor), whereby it's not noticeable by the staff and fall asleep. Not far away, there's always this trolley filled with paper carton or boxes, which looked fairly like what a karang guni (rag and bones) will have.

My first thought was, oh poor soul, they don't and can't afford a roof over them. But as days goes by, I started to ponder and I do respect and admired them because despite the conditions they're, they are determined to earn their own living. The trolley of paper material might seems like junk to me but I believe it could be their most precious and valuables they have with them. Given how shabby they wear dressed and it does seems that they have not been able to have a proper washed for long, it's seriously not hard to be a beggar and prey on others to pity them but they choose otherwise.

They did not give up on life and live with dignity and pride. This tells me, I should learn and be contented even if I'm not earning big bucks, even if my name is so unsignificant, even if no one knows me, so long i'm loved n breathing in clean air... I should be happy.

Then again, this might just be the story I imagined, it could not be the real thing that's happening but I just want to believe so and thought so, so there's always a story that reminds me the importance and know how to be contented.

In any case, if any of you are interested in sustainable living, I do have a link here to share:
